Anime meets live action in A&E's new crime drama
Every neighborhood needs a modern-day superhero. Los Angeles has theirs covered with “Akil the Fugitive Hunter.” Alongside A&E, we animated the live action and animated docuseries, bringing to life three to five minutes of flashback per episode. Through positive collaboration and the desire to showcase a black superhero who is invested in his community, we played a crucial hand in making “Akil the Fugitive Hunter” a powerful, engaging, and relatable show for everyone. RAINBOW REFUGEES
Even the LGBT community overseas needs our help
Pledging our assistance to an important cause affecting LGBT globally, Pixel Pirate Studio designed and produced the Rainbow Refugees site for the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) to advocate for the safety and rights of LGBTI refugees. Our illustrations showcase the struggles of this marginalized community and the various ways the public can show their support.

LUUT licenses out 2D and 3D animated content for game developers and animators, who turn around and offer their own content for sale.
